The Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) serves the unique needs of approximately 2,600 of the nation’s most professional and best qualified mechanical industry contractors specializing in heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, piping and overall mechanical service.
East Central Ohio Mechanical Contractors Association (ECOMCA)
The East Central Ohio Mechanical Contractors’ Association of (ECOMCA) is a non-profit construction trade association representing union-affiliated mechanical contractors incorporated in the State of Ohio, with a 501(c) (6) IRS Classification. ECOMCA is affiliated with the Mechanical Contractors’ Association of America (MCAA) and membership in MCAA is mandatory in order to join ECOMCA. ECOMCA neither pays dues nor is under any type of control of MCAA.

To foster the meeting and exchange of ideas, technical data and business information between Association members, the MCAA, other associations, manufacturers, architects and engineers.
Representation
To represent the membership in its relations with its employees and groups which may represent its employees.
The ECOMCA pledges it will be an Association run by its members, for the benefit of its members, with special emphasis on the participation and service from its membership.
A Well Trained and Highly Skilled Workforce
Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 94 provides signatory contractors with the region’s best-trained workforce, thanks to the outstanding instructors at the Local 94 Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC). This workforce consists of apprentices and their experienced journeyman counterparts, who provide direction and on-the-job learning opportunities.
Another benefit, which comes with our strong commitment to training, is a focus on safety. It will be required in 2023 for all workers to have completed OSHA 30 – further dedicating safety as a priority for our workforce and contractors.
